Things have not been the same in the Beach Bear household since Jan 19th . On that day we said good bye to our sweet girl Bianca. From the time we moved to the ranch Bianca took on role as our guardian, keeping the girls and myself safe from intruders. Opossum and racoons were not allowed in the yard and the cows were to graze a "respectful" distance from the fence line. Even when burglers broke into our neighbors house we never feared, Bianca was always on duty. But on that dreaful day she felt she needed to protect us from an awful snake and in doing so lost her own life.
I miss you dear, my Bianca, and with you have gone some of my hopes and dreams for Beach Bear Newfoundlands. You leave behind several wonderful offspring and one very broken heart.

Rest in peace my wonderful girl.
